About Troop 408
Who: Boy Scout Troop 408 is a registered unit of the Boy Scouts of America. We serve the communities in and around Roselle, Medinah, Bloomingdale, Lombard, Itasca, Hanover Park, in DuPage County in west suburban Chicago.....We are a unit of Northern Trails District, Three Fires Council of the BSA and are chartered by Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, Illinois......
What: We attempt to teach the scouts life skills, instill in them a sense of character, responsibility, and confidence and train them for citizenship, service, and leadership, as articulated in the BSA Mission Statement..... Skills instruction and camping are major components of the program......
When & Where: BSA Troop 408 holds weekly Monday night meetings from 7:00pm – 9:00pm at Trinity Lutheran in Roselle, Illinois..... Troop meeting are conducted by the Senior Patrol Leaders and his assistants. They generally follow a monthly theme...... The Patrol Leader’s Council meets once a month to plan details for the weekly troop meetings. In addition, the Troop holds an annual planning meeting to plan the themes and activities for the coming year...... Troop 408 Committee meets the last Wednesday of every month at 7:00pm at Trinity Lutheran in Roselle, Illinois.
